Welcome, friends! We’re excited to announce a year of programming for 2022, which features some tried and true favorites, as well as something new.
Prompt writing nights (February, April, June, August, October*, and December) give you a chance to hone your on-demand writing skills. Alex and Bethany will provide the prompts—you come prepared to write and share!
Workshops (March, July, and September) give you the opportunity to submit pages of a work in progress and receive constructive criticism from Alex, Bethany, and the other participating writers. Note that participation is limited to those who submit work, and work must be submitted at least one week prior to the workshop. New for 2022 is our open mic workshops! Held in May and November, these events allow you to read your work and receive a constructive critique. Reading your work to an audience is great practice, and brings a whole new dimension to workshopping. We hope you’ll join us!
